A magnetic valve adopts the structure with the electrified magnetic coil. The magnetic valve can produce the magnetic force to overcome the pressure of the spring and let the valve core move. This kind of valve adopts the very simple structure. The magnetic valve is cheap but can only be fully opened and closed.

The magnetic valve can be opened and closed to control the flow of the liquid or gas in the liquid and gas pipeline and operated with the dissolved oxygen control system. In general, this kind of valve is used for small pipes.

A valve can only be fully closed and opened if it belongs to the electric shut-off valve. An electric control valve adopts the structure with the valve positioner installed on the top of the valve body. With the closed-loop regulation, the control valve can be fixed on the stable position.

Operated by AI, the electric valve is used for liquid pipelines, gas pipelines and air-pipe systems to adjust the analog quantity of media's flow rate. This kind of valve can be used as the two-position controllor.

The former complex combination of the pneumatic valve, the electropneumatic valve positioner and the air supply causes the increased consumption of operation and decreased reliability of the valve.

In the aspect of economy, not only is the consumption of the air supply is reduced, but also the cost of the electropneumatic valve positioner is especially saved since the price of the imported valve positioner is up to around ten thousand RMB.

Fewer devices mean less maintenance in daily operation, which is also beneficial to the reliability of the ball valve.

The ball valve can only be operated with a certain pressure when the pneumatic actuator is used. In such cases, in the long term, there will be a large quantity of the energy consumption. However, if the electric actuator is put into use, the power supply is required only when the opening of the valve needs to be adjusted, and the supply is cut off when the adjustment is completed. In this way, the electric ball valve is particularly economical.

The electric ball valve is generally used under working conditions with high sealing requirements. Besides the media such as gases, liquids and steam, the electric ball valve also suits for controlling waste water and other media containing fiber impurities. 

The electric control ball valve adopts the quarter-turn structure and has strong shearing action when the valve core is in rotation relative to the valve seat. Thus, this kind of valve is especially adaptable to regulate the media containing fibers and small particles. The valve is widely applied to industries such as petroleum, chemicals, power and paper industries.
