Product Introduction

The dual Plate Check Valve is a non return valve to avoid back flow in pipelines, and have lots of advantages compared with BS1868 or API6D swing check valves, or piston check valves.

1.Lighter weight. Owing to its double plate split design, a dual plate Check valve weight can be reduced by 80-90% while compared to its conventional flanged swing check valves.
2.Lower Pressure Drop. Because each plate only covers half the area of a swing check disc, the dual plate check Valve splits the overall force in half. One-half the force on each plate necessitates one-half the thickness, resulting in a swing check disc with one-fourth the mass. The force required to move the plates is not increased by the weight of the plates. Due to its reduced force, the dual plate check Valve has a substantially smaller pressure drop.
3.Retainerless Design. Many check valves have four openings in the body of the valve where the hinge pin and stop pin are mounted. There are no holes that run the length of the valve body in a retainerless design. A retainerless design may be advantageous in applications where particularly dangerous or corrosive gases are going through the valve to reduce the likelihood of any gas escaping via perforations in the valve body.
4.Can be used for vertical installation while BS 1868 swing check valves are can’t be used for vertical installation.
